Following you back after you followed me, I like how you characterize yourself and how you write. I found this succinct and to the point. The previous piece, about the wife whose husband made her a mass sex object, was not succinct and I disagreed with you that it was an important read, but it was an intriguing one that could make a knockout movie.
No question you are good at perceiving and articulating. But now that we are following people here, which I find exasperatingly complexifying about why we do that as different from subscribing, still you surely deserve a follow from me. However, where does this all go? I don’t imply a criticism of you but I'm asking a real question.
As more and more people become Substackers, good perceivers and good writers can eat up your life, which is puzzling me. I don’t say that as an intro to some point I am making; it is a true puzzlement.
I thought to stop here, but could also make mention of my belief that I’m unique here in trying to drum up system change, with an action step being sharp perceivers talking to each other. ????
I appreciate your comment and agree with much of what you say. Substack can be overwhelming - I follow/subscribe to probably 100 people and keeping up is a challenge. I love the designation "sharp perceiver" and I'd welcome the opportunity for us to get together in some way.
What I'm doing is making a list. I've hosted think tank sort of stuff and am thinking of trying to collect some people I admire, and asking them who they would include. Do you have top ones?
